I'm going to be going to San Jose, Costa Rica for 6 months with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). I'm flying out on January 6th which is super soon, but the fact that I'm actually going still hasn't hit me. I'll be going to a Discipleship Training School (DTS), so the first three months will be lecture (which is going to be in English and Spanish because I'm going to a bilingual base!!) followed by three months of outreach throughout Costa Rica and possibly Nicaragua.
The best way to support me on this adventure would be by praying for me! Here are my main prayer requests as of right now:
-Safe travel (and that it's as stress-free as possible)
-That I won't be too homesick. I've never been away from my family and friends for this long, so that's kind of a big deal too.
-The group of people I'll be working with and ministering to for the next 6 months (I don't know anybody going down there, so I'm a little nervous about that too...)
