Ah, Sunday. A day to relax, recover and reflect. I did a load of laundry by hand this morning. It was surprisingly enjoyable. There’s a church right next to the base, so I could hear their worship service. It was lovely.

I’m so amazed by God. He’s already been teaching me so much. Near the end of the week, I discovered that I’m a naturalist. By a naturalist, I mean that God and I tend to connect when I’m outside in His creation. So I definitely experienced Him yesterday, when we went to the beach.

He showed me so many things about Himself and about His love. The main revelation of the day was this: His love is unstoppable, like a big wave. It can sweep me right off my feet. It’s powerful. And it’s rushing toward me.

I want to run into it, to be surrounded by Him and His love. It’s funny, because running into the waves has always been one of my favorite things to do at the beach. I want to sprint toward Him. I want to be overcome by His love.

I’m so excited to see what else He’s going to teach me!
